192.com yesterday triumphed at the 118 Tracker Awards, winning Best Online Directory for a record seventh year in a row.
The awards were organised by 118tracker.com, Europe’s leading provider of quality conferences, awards and networking events for the information industry.
To win Best Online Directory, 192.com had to demonstrate a need for its service, excellence in the delivery of it and first-rate design and innovation.
192.com’s delivery of free directory enquiries and its breadth of data made the 192.com submission a formidable one, and was supported by a tripling of over-all search activity on 192.com and a 110% increase in daily unique visitors to the site since the start of 2010.
